The
Waisman Center’s long history of excellence in interdisciplinary
research will move to a new level in December 2007 when construction is complete on the Laboratory Expansion Project. The project,
launched in 2005, will
upgrade approximately 20,000 square feet of outdated laboratory
facilities in the south tower, constructed in 1973, providing
state-of-the-art laboratory space that will support world-class
biomedical research on human development, developmental
disabilities, and neurodegenerative diseases.
